I got these pillows in my "red" phase about 5 years ago. They have been sitting in a closet for about 2 years. Everyone that knows me, knows, that I am not a seamstress. I wish I was! But I can do some basic sewing. So I took on the project of recovering these pillows instead of buying new ones. New ones were too expensive!
Since they were looking pretty sad I refilled them. That only cost $3.50. And I have a ton left over to do more projects. Because you know there will be more!
Much better!

The frame is from the wonderful Graphic Fairy site. The words are from me. If you can't read it, it says "God Shed His Grace on Thee".
This picture I just found on the internet. It has the Pledge of Allegiance on it.

This one is also from the Graphic Fairy. It's just a pretty french saying.
Yes those are handmade and individually stitched on! Now that was a project!

I just printed onto the fabric with my printer. There are a few ways to do this, so do some research first. You don't want to kill your printer! If done right it's really was easy!
The material cost me about $7.
I had all the other stuff needed. Thread, needles, and the material to make the little flower embellishments.
Total was about $10.
I still have one more pillow I'm working on. So I really recovered and decorated 4 pillows for 10 bucks!
So what do you think?
