Wardrobe- Before and After

So this is what I started with. A beautiful, very old and very beat up, wardrobe.

One side still was nice on the bottom but the other was completely gone and replaced by a large piece of wood.

Original key holes and the handle on the left was also the original but obviously the ones on the right are not. There was a lot of deep scratches and gouges all over the place. Don't you just love wood filler!

But after a TON of sanding, cleaning and paint I now have this!

I went with Heirloom White for the outside. And those are the cute new feet that I added.
The glass antique knobs were a gift from my sister last year. I was really excited to finally be able to use them on something.
I distressed all the edges to make it look it's age.
I know this is a bad picture but the lighting at the time was not great. I painted the inside an oops paint that I bought at Home Depot for 1 dollar! I would call it Robins Egg Blue. I wanted a pop of color. :) It only came with 3 shelves on one side and since I want this to be our linen closet I am making more. Can't wait to get it inside and get my sheets and towels in one place!
