Purse-Before and After

I have had this purse for about 4 years. I don't know about you girls but my husband gets that I "need" more than 2 pairs of shoes and that I "need" more clothes but he does not get my "need" for more than one purse. Don't get me wrong, I really don't like to spend that much money on purses anyway so I decided to take and old one of mine and make it new. For FREE!
I folded the fabric in half and cut out the shape of the purse. I then sewed the edges, flipped it inside out and just slipped the purse in. Next I stitched the material to the top of the purse, basically exactly where the white stitching is. I gathered the sides and the top, below the rings, and stitched it to the purse. Then I just tied some material in a knot around the area and stitched it. I finished it by adding a simple ruffle to one side and a simple flower.
Now I have a "new" purse for FREE.
